From here they sent a Postcard to Celebrity TV Chef, Si King, of the Hairy Bikers, who was rushed to hospital for emergency life saving treatment, after he suffered a potential life-threatening ruptured Brain Aneurysm in 2014.

The soulsisters hope that Mr King will have empathy for their cause and use his celebrity to help raise signatures for their petition to introduce a  Brain Aneurysm Awareness Day.

Whilst staying in Portland Michelle and Lisa took a short break to see some of the local sights and enjoyed exploring the breath-taking Jurassic Coastline.

Michelle, who has been recuperating, following her Subarachnoid Haemorrhage in January 2016, has been trying to build up her fitness by walking, which she said has helped her to recover both physically and emotionally from the terrifying health scare.

Michelle, who was previously a very fit and healthy cross-country running enthusiast, said that she suffered anxiety and panic attacks after her release from hospital, but that her love of the great outdoors and walking has greatly contributed to her recovery and mental wellbeing.

Whilst Michelle is still struggling with a loss of cognitive processes, including deficits with short-term memory, concentration, multi-tasking and decision-making and is suffering with frequent headaches, insomnia and neuro fatigue, she says that physically she is recovering extremely well and firmly believes that frequent walks with her friend and Dog, Daisy, has greatly aided her recovery.
