Today we visited the fifth Gold Post Box in our Gold Post Box Challenge, as part of our mission to raise Brain Aneurysm Awareness.
This was the post box of Olympic Shooting Gold Medalist, Peter Wilson, in Sherborne, Dorset.
From here we posted a Postcard to Baroness Karren Brady, Brain Aneurysm Survivor and Patron of The Stroke Association, asking for her help and support in introducing a Brain Aneurysm Awareness Day.
Both Michelle and I have been affected by the devastation that a ruptured Brain Aneurysm can cause. I lost my mum to this horrible silent Killer in 2012 and Michelle was faced with death due to a subarachnoid haemorrhage in January 2016.
We wish to raise more awareness and help save more lives.
Please sign the petition to help introduce a National Brain Aneurysm Awareness Day and help us to raise funds for important research into Brain Aneurysms and Subarachnoid Haemorrhage, being carried out Southampton University Hospital.
